🚍 How to get to the Aula of Transilvania University (Aula Sergiu Chiriacescu)
The Aula of Transilvania University (Aula Sergiu Chiriacescu) is located 15 minutes walking from the Old town- Historical Centre

Hotels and accommodation
Brașov is a mountain tourist city, considering the data of February to be full winter, follow the weather forecasts. If it snows, many hotels will likely be fully booked. Therefore, consider these aspects for booking.
Hotels near the meeting place, 5-10 min. walking:

How to Get to Brașov
✈️ By Plane
Brașov International Airport is located approximately 12 km from the city center.
It is a relatively small airport, offering connections to a limited number of destinations.

- Public transport: Bus line A1 connects the airport with the city center
- Ticket price: 5 RON (approx. 1 EUR)
Alternative Airports
If you cannot find a suitable flight to Brașov, we recommend using one of the nearby international airports:
- Bucharest (Henri Coandă / Otopeni Airport)

Both airports offer connections to many international destinations.
🚆 From Bucharest to Brașov
From Bucharest, Brașov is easily accessible by train. The distance is approximately 185 km.
- From Bucharest Otopeni – Henri Coandă Airport, take a train to Bucharest North (Gara de Nord)

Shuttle Bus (Bucharest → Brașov)
A more comfortable but more expensive option is a direct shuttle bus transfer from Bucharest Otopeni Airport to Brașov:
🚐 From Sibiu
From Sibiu (including the airport), we recommend using a shuttle service.
The distance to Brașov is approximately 150 km.
🚆 By Train (International)
We do not recommend traveling to Romania by international train, as journeys from the Romanian border to Brașov are typically very long and time-consuming.
