We are pleased to invite all members of the EU-PoTaRCh COST Action (CA22155) to take part in the 3rd General Meeting and Conference, which will be held on 17–19 February 2026 in Brașov, Romania. As previously announced on 21 October 2025, the event will consist of a Conference Day followed by Working Group Meetings. We warmly encourage all members of the Action to participate in both parts of the event.
The Conference Day, scheduled for 17 February, will include oral presentations and poster sessions focusing on the Action’s deliverables. These include:
- Best-Practice Guide for identifying and excavating PoTaRCh sites;
- White Paper for policymakers and international organizations outlining the relevance of PoTaRCh in the context of bioeconomy strategies and forest transformation;
- Education Trail Across Europe;
- Catalogue of production maps, archives, photographs, and related materials on human and non-human actors and social-ecological systems;
- Innovative tourism concepts that align with forest heritage preservation.
- Contributions related to other EU-PoTaRCh deliverables, as listed on the official website (https://potarch.eu/about/), are also welcome.
Members who wish to present are asked to select their topic and submit the title and abstract through the Google Form available at: https://forms.gle/nfZYnKCHDQSv6xzu5. The deadline for submitting contributions is 20 December 2025. Timely submission will support the preparation of the programme and the efficient scheduling of the sessions.
