Dissemination Conference Grant Report

During the 30th Annual Meeting of the EAA, I had the opportunity to present a part of the results obtained from my PhD project. The project focuses on the study of production techniques and the investigation of chemical degradation in multi-component archaeological adhesives made by resinous substances, using mass spectrometry-based techniques.
The conference proved to be an excellent opportunity for the growth and development of my research. It provided an optimal stage for my work and allowed me to receive constructive feedback from experts in the field.
The event facilitated numerous opportunities for improve my professional networking, enabling me to establish connections with other researchers who are also working on similar topics. Talking with them helped me better understand the latest trends and challenges in studying this kind of archaeological materials. Furthermore, the interdisciplinary nature of the conference gave me the opportunity to confront myself with a wide range of research perspectives and methodologies that go beyond my current field of application and to provide me with valuable insights and ideas to further advance my project.
