During the meeting of WG4 members on 10th of May, 2024
- The meeting participants focused mainly on the below WG4 task and deliverables:
- discussed the first face-to-face meeting of WG4 and the Visual Sources Workshop, which will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in spring 2025;
- The three main goals of the meeting will be to start developing a database of the virtual sources of PoTaRCH, to submit a panel abstract for ESEH 2025 or other conference, and to start developing a virtual exhibition.
- The idea of visual exhibition and work came from a discussion with Martin Stuber (Switzerland), organiser of summer school and a panel about visual turn in forest history (focussing on commons) in Bern. Learn more…
- the application of the WG4 panel to the ESEH conference, which will be held in August next year in Sweden, was also discussed;
- it was decided that currently the most important task is working on review papers;
- ensure progress towards goals by reviewing work carried out on-site and in virtual workshops,
- reviews works on environmental, social and historical issues,
- catalogue of production maps, archives, photos;
- discussed the first face-to-face meeting of WG4 and the Visual Sources Workshop, which will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in spring 2025;
- Three main topics were clarified, and leaders were delegated:
- Sustainable development – Environment (lead by Anna Varga),
- Knowledge transfer (lead by Péter Szabó),
- Mediavel Environment History (lead by: Aleksandra Fostikov)
- finally, the date of the next online meeting will be set on June
